The China Quality Innovation and Improvement Achievement Publishing and Exchange Event was held in Hangzhou from July 24th to 27th, 2023.
The two 6 Sigma Black Belt projects “Reducing SMT Process Defect Rate of Xiaomi M Project” and “Reducing Appearance Defect Rate of Redmi Flagship Machine K Project Assembly Process” jointly carried out by DBG, Xiaomi, and Deutsche Telekom AG stand out, both receiving “demonstration level” awards, which is the highest award in the field of Six Sigma in China!
This event brings together 156 excellent Six Sigma project teams from various industries such as automobiles, electronics, new energy, steel, tobacco, and banking to compete on stage, with three awards set up: demonstration level (highest award), professional level, and improvement level.
The joint team strives for excellence in project improvement, holding a weekly meeting to fully leverage the team’s wisdom, brainstorm ideas, jointly discuss project development ideas, identify problem-solving methods, and ultimately solve industry pain points through technological innovation, digital transformation, and IT-based error prevention. Among them, four improvement innovations can be promoted within the industry, transitioning from post improvement to pre prevention, continuously breaking industry bottlenecks, and ultimately achieving perfect standards.
